Our guest house adapts to your needs

You can rent a guest room for 2 to 6 people, a gîte for 2 to 14 people or the entire site which can accommodate up to 31 people. We adapt to what you need! All accommodation is in the main building and each part has its own dedicated entrance.

Our large gîte, ideal for family reunions, groups and seminars

Le Moulin de Vézelay is a large hybrid gîte which combines gîtes and guest rooms. You have the possibility of privatizing the entire site to organize family reunions, training courses and retreats, gatherings with friends, sports trips, etc.

All accommodation is in the same 2000m² building. There are three separate entrances: 1 for the gîte, 1 for the guest rooms, 1 for the reception room. You have access to 10 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms for 31 beds. You also have access to the living room, 30m² dining room, kitchen of the gîte and the living room and library of the guest rooms. There is a large semi-professional kitchen adjoining the reception room.

A second room of 48m² can also be rented for your activities.

You can rent self-catering, half board or full board; we adapt to your needs!

Our character guest rooms

Want a stay in the countryside, peace and quiet and also close to all amenities?

Come and discover our bucolic rooms in the heart of a 3-hectare park on the banks of the river. Located in the Morvan Park, in the heart of Burgundy, between Vézelay and Avallon, the Moulin de Vézelay is the ideal place for a solo getaway, as a couple, with family or friends. Each room has its own atmosphere and all have been designed for your comfort.

We offer 5 guest rooms equipped with a free WIFI connection, each with its own bathroom or shower room and separate WC.

• Breakfast is included in the room price and served on the table from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. It consists of a hot drink, fruit juice, fresh fruit, eggs, yogurt, cheese, bread, brioche, homemade cakes, jam, honey, butter.

• We welcome you from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. or by appointment and departure is no later than 10 a.m.

• Our animal friends are welcome and must remain under your supervision during your entire stay. Spaces are dedicated to them for their well-being.

Hygge shared lodges for families and small groups

Coliving, Coworking, teleworking, the hygge life philosophy are the new trends for staying, living or working remotely in a healthy, quiet environment, surrounded by nature and with the opportunity to meet people.

Over time, new generations understand that working in large towers, in noise, pollution, stress and crowds does not suit them... They wish to change their lifestyles and favor a more human living environment. with meetings.

Hybridization is therefore becoming the key word for new accommodation. At the Vézelay mill, we offer three shared lodgings.

Shared accommodation, how does it work?

The shared lodgings are located in the same 250m² house with three private areas made up of one or two bedrooms, a bathroom and a relaxation area with armchairs. For living spaces, they are shared between the three accommodations! So you will have access to a large kitchen, a comfortable and warm living room, a terrace and its garden with a barbecue.

Each cottage can have a private pantry, or you can pool everything together, the choice is yours! And the same goes for meals, activities, etc...

The advantage of the shared gîte is that it offers you both comfortable and cocooning private spaces but also more spacious and fully equipped living rooms.

Thus, you keep your privacy while reducing your ecological impact by avoiding increasing the number of living spaces and you have the possibility of meeting new people at a time when social connections are more than necessary to help us live better as the promotes the Danish Hygge lifestyle.

What are our lodgings made of?

Shared gîtes can be rented together or separately depending on your needs. The total capacity of shared accommodation is 14 people. Gîte n°1 can accommodate up to 3 people (3 single beds); gîte no. 2 for up to 5 people (1 double bed, 2 bunk beds, 1 sofa bed); gîte no. 3 consists of 2 bedrooms and can accommodate 6 people (bedroom 1 with 1 double bed, bedroom 2 with 2 single beds and 2 bunk beds).

The lodgings are rented under free management. You can benefit from our catering service from breakfast to dinner, lunch or picnic for one or more of your meals. Meals must be reserved 48 hours in advance, specifying any allergies or special diets.

All our cottages are rented with sheets and towels. In the price you have access to the park and the swimming pool. Tourist tax is included.

Rental is for a minimum of two nights.

The common areas of the lodges

In the house which hosts our three shared gîtes, you will have access to a large, fully equipped kitchen as well as a living room and a dining room. You can join or separate the tables as you wish.

You have access to a private terrace with a barbecue and direct access to the swimming pool.

A fully equipped studio accessible to disabled people

Le Moulin de Vézelay is accommodation accessible to everyone! A fully equipped studio is accessible to disabled people. It consists of a large bedroom with two single medical beds, a bathroom with seats and support bars and a fully equipped kitchenette. It is on the ground floor and has a reserved parking space closest to the entrance.

For your peace of mind, you also have a small private courtyard sheltered from prying eyes thanks to flowered hedges.

The studio can be rented as a gîte or as a bed and breakfast. You can also reserve your meals which will be brought to you in your kitchen.
